Policies
** We require documentation from your Veterinarian that your pet is up to date on required/standard inoculations. These include: Rabies, Distemper and Parvo.
1. Our philosophy is to offer your pet a stress free grooming experience:

- Your pet's safety and comfort are our first priority.
- We pay special attention to older pets with health issues.
- Senior pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort.
- We will not perform any grooming procedure that causes pain or stress that we think is excessive. (This includes nail clipping in some situations.)
2. If your pet has behavior problems, please let us know:
- In some cases your dog may need to be muzzled or restrained for their own safety and the protection of the groomer.
- The pet's owner will be held liable for any bites that require medical attention and any property damage caused by their pet.
- Any bite that requires medical attention will be reported to the local Department of Health.
- In cases of aggression or other behavioral issues, Beth's Zoomin' Groomin' reserves the right to refuse service.
3. Appointments:
We will arrive as close to the scheduled time as possible. However, occasionally situations arise that disrupt the daily schedule of the groomer. This includes but is not limited to; traffic, weather, mechanical difficulties, spending more time with an older/younger/difficult pet. A pet's safety will never be compromised by rushing to meet and appointment. We
will call and inform you of an arrival time when the schedule changes beyond our control.
4. Pricing:
Pricing varies for each pet and is determined by breed, size, condition of coat and behavior of your pet.
5. Dematting:
We do NOT demat coats. This is a timely and painful procedure for your pet to endure. It contradicts our stress/anxiety free philosophy. A heavily matted coat will need to be removed with a 'smoothie' to allow for new healthy coat growth.
Please keep in mind, that a matted coat can cause numerous health conditions including itching, irritation and skin infections. Removing a heavily matted coat includes risk of nicks, cuts or abrasions warts, moles, and skin folds trapped and hidden in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture near the pets' skin allowing fungus or bacteria to grow causing skin irritations that exist prior to the grooming process. Beth's Zoomin' Groomin' is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions due to a matted coat.

6. Cancelation policy:
BZG requires 24 hour advanced notice to change or cancel an appointment.
Failure to give 24 hour notice will result in a $50.00 fee that must be paid prior to your next grooming appointment. Giving advanced notice gives us the opportunity to fill your time slot and rearrange our schedule.
7. No Show policy:
When we arrive for a scheduled appointment and no one is available to release your pet to us, a $50.00 cancellation fee will apply and must be paid prior to your next grooming appointment.
8. Payment:
We accept cash or check. Payment is due at completion of the grooming session. There will be a $35.00 charge for non-sufficient funds.
